If I could

Light blue moonlight
shining in through open windows,
memory comes back
never wanted,
ever forgotten,
now frightening me.

Restless for how long,
as long as i know,
as long unforgiven wake.
Restless with fear,
embracing me.
Restless just lost,
captured in lovely, nostalgic loneliness.

Lord forgive me,
my everlasting mistaken days.
Lord punished me,
for all them and all,
that has to come.

Restless for how long,
as long as i know,
as long unforgiven wake.
Restless with fear,
embracing me.
Restless just lost,
captured in lovely, nostalgic loneliness.

I loved nothing,
and nothing will I.
Frightened to death I hear,
the never softening recall,
forgive my weakness,
bittered purity.
